About Me
Hi, welcome to my online Digital Portfolio! My name is Bella Kidd, and I go to school at Animas High School. Outside of school, I enjoy playing ice hockey, drawing, and shopping. I am the oldest of three siblings in my family, with two brothers and one sister. I always strive to do well in school, and in my past I have been awarded as an Honor Student several times.
Why I Chose Animas High School
I chose to go to Animas High because I wanted both challenge in my education, and I wanted to learn by a less-traditional learning technique: Project-Based Learning. This learning method has definitely impacted me positively, since I'm more of a hands-on learner rather than someone who works straight out of the book. I ultimately chose this school not only for the project-based experiences, but because of the school setting and culture. I decided pretty early on in Middle School that I didn't wish to follow on my education career into a large school, and that I'd rather learn in a smaller environment, particularly Animas High.
Along with those said reasons above, I really wanted a change in who taught me and how caring they were of my work. Here at Animas, the staff is always supportive of your work and can conform to how you prefer to learn.
